    Affenpinscher Dogs can make good pets in Iceland if they match your IifestyIe. Affenpinschers get along well with other pets when they all grow up together. Affenpinschers play around a lot, and can be both inquisitive and mischievous. Quick learners, affenpinschers can be trained easily, though they prefer variety in training methods so they do not get bored. An affenpinscher needs to be trained in a firm and confident manner.

    "Affe" means monkey in German - affenpinschers sometimes have a monkey-like expression on their face. Affenpinschers were originally ratters, removing rodents from kitchens and similar undesired places. Affenpinschers need regular grooming because of their thick coat. The affenpinscher originated in Germany during the seventeenth century. While similar to terriers, affenpinschers are actually part of the pinscher-schnauzer group of dog breeds.
